Although its one of the features that is requested most often in online discussions, Dying Light 2 cross-platform support will not be available when the game launches on the 4th February, 2022. There’s no official statement from the publishers or developers about its crossplay support in the future. In other words, you’re limited to playing with players on the same platform as you. The same goes for playing it on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The straightforward answer as of now is, unfortunately, no. If you are playing Dying Light 1 on the PS4, you can play it on the PS5 as well. While players on both platforms will be able to play each other’s games, the cross-platform feature will not carry over from one platform to the other. Currently Dying Light 2 does not support the ability for Cross-Play between PS4 and PS5 players. Dying light 2 finally just launched and i am sure a ton of people are going to be trying to play alongside their friends using co op.
